Registration and Hotel

Conference registration is nearly sold out. Conference registrations made beginning October 5 must be walk-in registrations, which are limited. Walk-in regsitrations may be standing-room only.

Tickets to the A. Starker Leopold Lecture and banquet are available separately for all registration options. You do not need to have a meal ticket to attend the lecture and are welcome to come, though it may be standing room only.

Conference Registration Desk Hours:

Registration With Meals

Meals included with registration *with meals* are served at the conference site. Registration With Meals includes: Monday evening heavy hors d’oeuvres; Tuesday breakfast, lunch, and light appetizers during the poster session; and Wednesday breakfast and lunch. Tickets to the Tuesday night A. Starker Leopold Lecture and banquet dinner must be purchased separately on the registration form.

Registration **Without Meals**
The conference schedule only allows 45 minutes for lunch and conference attendees are strongly encouraged to stay on site. The Terrace Grill, adjacent to the conference facility, will be open for lunch 11 AM -5 PM through October 14. Additional dining options may be available in Gardiner, Montana, approximately 15 minutes (5 miles) from the conference site. Tickets to the Tuesday night A. Starker Leopold Lecture and banquet dinner may be purchased separately on the registration form.

News Media: News media planning to attend the conference may obtain free day passes at the registration desk at the Mammoth Hotel to attend conference sessions. The day passes do not cover any meals, so media planning to attend meals should pre-register for meals only ($100 before September 15, or $125 beginning September 15). Banquet meal tickets may be purchased separately. Media who do not pre-register can check on meal availability when they obtain a day pass; individual meal tickets may be purchased if still available the day of the event. Media are encouraged to pre-register for a free day pass by emailing yell_conference@nps.gov.

US Federal Employees: This conference is approved by the Department of the Interior.

Forest Service employees: Please use your fs.fed.us email address on the registration form.

Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel: The conference is held at the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel in Yellowstone National Park, which is closed to the public during the event. Conference attendees may make a reservation at the hotel using the conference registration form. Federal government per diem rates are not available for the conference.

Payments: Registration fees will be charged to credit cards immediately. To confirm your lodging at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel, a deposit payment (first night's cost) will be charged to your credit card on September 24, 2012. The balance is due on arrival. Complete policies about payments, cancellation, and refunds are available on the conference registration form.

Tax Exemption: Government employees will need to present a completed State of Wyoming Tax Exempt Form to the hotel staff at check-in.
